The St. Joseph/Marblehead Knights of Columbus will have perch and pierogies available to the public on Fridays -- March 12, and March 26 from 5-7 p.m., in the St. Joseph Church Hall, 822 Barclay St., Marblehead.
The Ottawa County Genealogical Society will meet Tuesday, March 16, at the Ida Rupp Library, 310 Madison, Port Clinton. The meeting time has changed from 7 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The speaker for this meeting will be Peg Debien, curator of the local museum. She will speak on how to do an oral history. Meetings are open to the public and all are welcome to attend. We hope to see you there.
The Marblehead Lighthouse Historical Society will be having their first monthly meeting of the year on Thursday, March 18, at 7 p.m., in the activity room of Otterbein Retirement Center. All regular and business members are urged to attend.
Ida Rupp Public Library hosts two book discussions each month. The second book discussion, The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane by Katherine Howe will be Friday, March 26, at 10 a.m. Copies of this title are available for check out at the library.
The Danbury Township Board of Trustee meetings are held at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at the township hall, 5972 E. Port Clinton Eastern Road.
