Thanks to all who supported tree lighting

The Marblehead Police Department would like to thank supporters for it's annual Village Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony held on Friday, Nov. 27, at James Park.

Thank you to Avery's Cafe for the delicious cookies; VFW Post 7572 and ladies auxiliary for donations and the hot chocolate; Judith Just, donation; Bob and Charlene Carroll, donation; Mayor Jackie Bird and Tom Bird for the four bikes that were won by the children; Marblehead Volunteer Fire Department, transporting Santa on the fire truck; Marblehead Peninsula Lions Club, Santa; Deb Garrard, donation; St. Joseph's Catholic Church choir, for the beautiful songs they sang; Peninsula News, advertising and photos; Lea Mark, Danbury art teacher and to the Danbury Elementary students for making the beautiful ornaments that are on the village Christmas tree.

A great time was had by all.
