Firelands Antiques Fair
March 12 and 13 at Huron County Fairgrounds
On March 12 and 13, the Firelands Antiques Fair will begin its 36th year offering quality antiques. There will be a combined selection of antiques this year, featured in the heated Expo building at the Huron County Fairgrounds in Norwalk.
New to this year's show is a one hour early bird entrance on Friday from noon-1 p.m., admission is $8 per person. General admission for regular show hours is $3 per person on Friday from 1-6 p.m., and Saturday 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Children 12 and under are free. Parking is free.
Tom Jarrett from The Northern Ohio Antique Mall will be giving free appraisals at his booth, for gold, silver and coins. Jarrett will also be buying scrap gold, silver and coins.
William and Susan Mills will be at the fair again this year, demonstrating the art of chair caning.
This year's show will have a wide arrangement of antiques and collectibles, furniture, bottles, pottery, primitives, Victorian, linens, purses, jewelry, postcards, toys including western and Marx play sets, books including comics, Ohio history, children's and poetry.
Homestyle pies and soups, breakfast or lunch sandwiches will be available. Door prizes will be drawn throughout both days of the show.
