Miller steps down after eight seasons

Danbury Head Boys' Basketball Coach Joe Miller has decided to step down after eight seasons. Coach Miller has had a great ride as boys' basketball coach.

He started his career in 2002, as he made the change from junior varsity coach at Oak Harbor to varsity coach at Danbury. He won TAAC championships in the 2003 and 2005 seasons. His team was ranked 16th in the state in 2003, 10th in the state in 2004, and sixth in the state in 2005. Miller finished his career with a 101-73 record and has seven tournament victories in eight seasons.

Miller has also won three sectional titles, one district championship, and has one regional appearance in 2003.
